For those who have lived in Alaska, or want to visit!

Here are photos of a polar bear attack on a man caught in the open !

These pictures were taken in Alaska while people watched and could
do nothing to stop the attack. One person captured the terrifying scene
using a telephoto lens. Reports from the local newspaper say that the
victim should make a full recovery.

This is not for the squeamish, so be warned...

It's a shame baby polar bears are so adorable, and yet their mothers get so upset when you try to play with them.

The adults are meeaaaaan sons of bitches.

i plan on owning a permenant-baby polar bear. and an emperor penguin. they will be best of homies

i would love to go to alaska, but its a pretty expensive trip and being on a college budget it probably wont happen anytime soon (unless its some crazy fuckin awesome present from my family)

I am guessing the pictures took place in a controlled enviorment. But those animals are adorable. I read an article yesterday on cnn.com about the threat that they are facing with all the global problems. I am not sure but I think it was 1 out of four was expected to die withing the next few years
