TV series worth watching?

I've been watching Arrow and The Walking Dead lately. Arrow is alright but some of the acting is terrible at times haha.

Also used to watch Community. I found it pretty funny but other mate of mine didn't so much. All depends what you're into.

I just can't wait for Game of Thrones to start again!

You guys/girls are all fucked...

- The Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show
- M*A*S*H
- The BBC Life series
- Formula 1
- NFL games

That's the bulk of my TV watching. The GF is into all those drama series shows, supernatural, the good wife, elementary, etc. etc. etc. She watches them on her TV upstairs. I save my 67" 1080p tv for cartoons from the '40s.

edit: almost forgot a classic, although I haven't watched it much in ages. Married with children. Now THAT'S a TV show!!!

I haven't followed a series in ages, think the last one was the Shield. If it's on Netflix it's worth a marathon. I'm more the history and science type, but lately it seems like Discovery, History, TLC ect have all went to swamp people, pawn shop crap. Now they even have fucking Swamp Pawn, that's original

I think I enjoyed Red Dwarf more than any other series where you leave your brain at the door.

Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but ... Battlestar Galactica.

I'm serious. People write it off, thinking it's purely sci-fi and nerdy like Star Trek, but it's not. The Sci-Fi is almost an after thought. Very powerful show, and it's a shame more people haven't watched it yet. It really is epic. A few slow episodes, but watch at least the first season. If you're not hooked, than it really isn't for you.

Another show I loved, was Deadwood. Lots of cursing but the cursing isn't gratuitous. The creator (David Milch) former University English lecturer, weaved Shakespearean language patterns with lewd and obscene language.

It's a shame it was cancelled after just 3 seasons. It was truly a great show. Quite possibly one of the best shows ever IMO.

Lots of great stuff recommended here. The Following seems really good so far, if you`re into serial killer stuff...
