You know your life sucks if it revolves around watching TV. And talking about it like if it really happened.

^ For some of us, the same thing can be said with having internet friends. So whatever floats your boat.

I'm completely shocked at the lack of Spartacus recommendations. So only three of us here watch it???

THE REST OF YOU ARE BLOWING IT THEN (including those who have watched it and wrote it off)!

StarzHD - Spartacus

It's on the last episode and there is a total of 4 seasons (one being a prequel story). It's a great series and really stays true to Ancient Roman culture. This means it isn't kid friendly and they aren't bashful about the sex homo or hetero. Gratuitous violence and nudity from both sexes.

Aside from all that, the story is great. It's even better if you know of what little history there is of Spartacus. You know the ending, yet the show has you rooting for characters that you know are doing to die.

By the way, there isn't a single actor in there that struck me as bad. Actually, there was this actress in the second season that wasn't all that great, but she made up for it in eye-candy so it evens out.

Glad to see some Spartacus fans! I absolutely love this show. I can't wait for the series finale, and though I know the true outcome of it, I'm just waiting on how the show will portray the end.

It was really unfortunate that the original Spartacus actor died of pancreatic cancer after the first season. I actually liked him more than the current Spartacus.

The eye candy (female) in this show is all over the place. Fighting, sex, boobs, dialogue, fighting, sex, boobs, fighting, dialogue, sex, boobs... that's pretty much each episode.

I used to watch True Blood until my HBO subscription expired and it was not the same anymore when I missed a couple episodes. It's either i see it all or I loose interest. I also watched but recently ended Fringe, it had a polished story-line start to end.

Most shows get boring after a while specially those whose storyline are continous and not per episode when they are just in it for the sake of air-time and survival-mode from being cancelled, example is Lost and i predict The Following with the same fate.

I'm serious. People write it off, thinking it's purely sci-fi and nerdy like Star Trek, but it's not. The Sci-Fi is almost an after thought. Very powerful show, and it's a shame more people haven't watched it yet. It really is epic. A few slow episodes, but watch at least the first season. If you're not hooked, than it really isn't for you.

Another show I loved, was Deadwood. Lots of cursing but the cursing isn't gratuitous. The creator (David Milch) former University English lecturer, weaved Shakespearean language patterns with lewd and obscene language.

It's a shame it was cancelled after just 3 seasons. It was truly a great show. Quite possibly one of the best shows ever IMO.
Those are 2 of the best shows that have been on television in the past 15 years. No stale episodes.

I tend to rewatch both a lot. especially during the winter during the week.

Still, one of my favorite shows/cartoons is the Venture Bros.
