Indeed, Florida has won too many World Series titles that no one cared about already. And maybe if we crush their hopes, they'll quit it with those goddamned cowbells.

I live in Boston. I am huge Sox fan. That said, I won't be too sad if the Rays win. However, they have to earn it. Boston broke its curse. Twice. Time to share the glory. The last-to-first would be a great story if the Rays could pull it off. But I'd love to see Boston and LA face off in the World Series...esp with Manny on the oher side now.

They earned it. More cowbell!

I'm actually surprised the Sox went as far as they did. Varitek is automatic out these days. Schilling is retired from injury. Ortiz stopped hitting. Drew had been injured. Lowell is out of commission. Manny is gone. Beckett has not been all that sharp. Etc. With all that, they still managed to get to game 7. IMHO, that is impressive.

Manny was a mixed bag. His bat is one of the best the game will ever see. His attitude, among of the worst. Management finally had enough of the later.
