Its not the riding thats the issue, its the falling thats the problem, Ive seen a shirtless squid lose it trying to wheelie, his back looked like a charred hotdog

I'm in the "more fun to ride a slow bike fast than a fast bike slow" camp, track would definitely be the exception though.

Got rid of both of these last year, looking to pick up a lightweight dual-sport (WR250R/KLX250S probably) in the next month as all the snow melts.

Suzuki DRZ400SM with full Yoshi titanium exhaust - everybody needs to try a supermoto

Husqvarna TXC-250 - first dirt bike, tons of fun

That KTM cafe conversion is pretty awesome, puts together everything I like (dirt bikes, supermoto, and cafe racers)

^^^^^ fuckin rad.

i was out riding around all day today.. made me think - for all you dudes on sport bikes: are little kids just in awe and completely fixated on your bike when you're riding in traffic? i get it all the time, pretty much without fail... sometimes the adults are too scared or intimidated to look or make eye contact but the little kids are all about it. i always wave to them and brap the throttle of course

just wondered if the sport bikes most of which are pretty quiet compared to mine get the same kinda stares from little kids.

I live about 15 minutes from the entrance to US 129 of highway 411 here in Maryville,TN. The tail of the dragon is a hell of a place to ride. You guys be careful on it though, lot of 4 wheel traffic crossing the center line on blind curves and lots of two wheel riders pushing themselves past their skills.

Still, some pretty badass stuff!

This thread makes me want another bike really bad! I had a Suzuki Katana 600 for a few years, but sold it when I moved Colorado. I would love to get another one to ride the twisties in the mountians, but drivers in Denver are just too fucking terrible. I commute 20 miles round trip for work each day, and I have someone almost merge into me without looking or slam on their brakes infront of me for no reason atleast twice a week. Having a bike here is a death wish.
