You guys are crazy. The Subaru Outback is the ultimate surf wagon imo (that can also be used in the city....otherwise, give me an early 80s Land Cruiser). Super functional.

Can't imagine it'd be all that bad for a snowboard vehicle either.

There is about a 300% chance that one of my next 2 vehicles is an Outback (as soon as we can kill off one of the Civics (maybe never!))

Literally 75% of cars up the mountains in NZ are subaru's, we get them cheap as chips out here!! They are great surf and snow wagons but they munch fuel even with the AWD fuse taken out. Hippies drive the camper vans up the mountain roads here, now that is funny s#$t on pow days!!!
"We are stuck, Can you help us please dude?"

Hmmmm I am not familiar with this hipster in Subaru phenomenon. Here in Brooklyn they all ride "vintage" bicycles aka $20 rusted pieces of shit which is the only thing they can afford.

I thought most hipsters in gentrified sections of NYC were rich as balls, living off their trust funds and such.

They buy the rusty shit bike because it's soooooo hip. Even though they could drop 12,000 on a top shelf road bike if they wanted. Wankers.

There's those kind of hipsters too, but there's plenty of the breed that packs 6+ people into a 2 bedroom 800sf apartment. The trust fund hipsters aren't riding around on rusty pieces of shit, they have legit vintage bikes that cost hundreds. I used to live in Williamsburg, that shit is hipster ground zero.

That must have been brutal. I'm not a violent man, but I would be sorely tested not to punch someone in the face if I was confronted with hipster effrontery on the daily.

Honestly it was a free daily comedy show. I especially loved to hear them railing against capitalism as they walk out of a coffee shop with a $6 latte. Fucking tools.

Shit man. And I thought California was bad. I'm kinda stoked to be back in New Mexico for now. At least there is great fishing... And the mountains are way better. I remember when someone told me about "a river that's good fly fishing in LA." that shit was concrete!!!!!

Anyway... Hipsters in South Cali are all about the fixies with pastel or earth tone color schemes. Wearing one pant leg rolled up can get you laid by an American Apparel model almost as fast as a stupid mustache or a balloon of heroin.

Ahhhhhhhh it's nice to be back out here in the mountains!!!
