NRG - sheesh you are soo full of yourself!

sorry for not noting your sarcasm it is tricky in plain text. perhaps we should reinstate the *sarc* clarification!

incidentally, for the above response... *sarc*

i too have been deemed worldly..... i have been considered to be australian (by americans) and american (by australians)

another thing i noticed in Canada that i thought was weird was how their evening news was riddled with US news! and not really important news. that was in winnipeg though, which is kinda closer to the boarder, so maybe that's why?

so take it for what it is and without shouting too much, don't get offended!

Thats why you are a limey and I am an American. No need to elaborate b/c defending my views would not change your opinion. Its wasted breath/time. "GTFO" is a universal answer that takes no breath/time at all, while having a considerable effect on the recieving end. No point proven. Unless you want to want to touch base on the ignorance of your posts.... then I guess we could all say that ALL limey's are ignorant American haters. Then, yes, I guess you could say "point proven." But then, so could I.

where i live...

its not really a country, but we have our own flag, own government, a border etc

Gibraltar, its like on the nipple of spain but its a british territory.

population of 29,000 and alot of people know eachother. A walk down town and u will find urself chatting to someone every couple of feet :P

Most families have 2 working parents 9 to 5 jobs n stuff. Spain has been trying to make this land their own for years, they fail.

You can view nearly everything there is to see in gibraltar on my website: Gib Tour | Gibraltar Virtual Tours

just check the tours and fly around gibraltar :] culture is booming here.

umm, didn't you say americans were the ones who run out of breath proving their point? and that you wouldn't do that, rather you would just quietly ponder the thought within your head & then punch their lights out & be done with it?

anyways, lets try to keep this impersonal, as it's meant to be more of a window to other worlds as a way of broadening our horizons, not a boxing ring.

I took it a little personal b/c im tired of all the American bashing happening pretty much everywhere accross the world. To make generalizations based off of one or two personal experiences is proving ones ignorance. Especially being as though how diverse this world is. Its just as dumb as making a serious comment about how much black people like watermelon and chicken, or how asians love cats, mexicans and their beans/tacos, or how all East Indians are terrorist, etc. This world is too beautiful to waste any energy on hate towards each other based on ignorance.

With that said, Sorry for the ThreadJack, Jenn!

hhmmm, sarcasma?

in case it is not.... i feel compelled to reiterate my very first post ... this is mere opinion of those i have seen and even then, it will amount to nothing more than stereotypical generalisations.

this is an online forum. i have lost no breathe for not a single word has been uttered. i type over 50 words per minute so this shit comes easy to me; even without spell checker. this is not taxing; no breathe is wasted!

and as much as it might appeal to graze my knuckles on morons who only read what they want to read and not actually what i write; a punch across the atlantic would sometimes be a mighty fine thing! but then.... i am a pacifist!
