How many of you guys are gym rats?

I've never really worked out much to be honest - a month or two here and there. I've recently gotten pretty serious about it and I'm kind of addicted! I've been skinny my entire life and noticed some fat this last year, It was awful. Now I feel better than I ever have!

I'm pretty excited for next season, I've only been working out for a couple months but I feel way stronger! It's got to help with endurnce and jumps. Just starting this thread to keep myself motivated. Eating healthy is the most difficult part for me. It's a major PITA.

Usually 5-6 weight lifting sessions for me each week. Been slacking the past couple months, but will be back into full training mode shortly.

I train every day of my life as they have never trained a day in theirs. Alexander Karelin

I bang fat chicks in the off season. Lots of heavy lifting prepares me for snow season, plus the cardio isn't too bad either.

Because someone has to call it how they see it!

Yeah that used to work well for me too, old age I guess? Hopefully this will be the first year I don't completely fuck myself on that fucking mountain bike I own.
Haha.

If the 82 refers to your year of birth be warned, the flubby stuff starts to grow fast after 30
I'm not a gym type. I prefer to be outdoors. 6 times a week horseriding, wind and recently kite surfing, occasional jogging (in the woods) and hiking in summer. And it might sound ridiculous but I'm sure that part of my shape comes from walking. I never take a bus. Whatever is in walking distance in the city: I walk, fast pace (I can't walk slowly. I get crazy if I have to walk duck pace with friends) means 40 min each day to get to work.

Ha, me also. Friends are constantly lagging behind and complaining I walk too fast.

I actually have a gym membership but only use it for showering during power outages (hurricane related, weeks at a time without power leads to desperate decisions). They've been very expensive showers.

Gym rat for sure. Grew up playing football (american) and basketball so naturally I was thrown into it. My friends know when I've missed a day because I get cranky & sluggish. (Not getting the extra release of endorphins that I'm used to) Besides, strong legs + strong core helps a ton with boarding.

I love lifting heavy shit and usually do it 3 days a week. I don't really do it for looks, I like doing the big compound lifts that focus on strength applicable in the real world... deadlifts, squats, snatches, etc. I use a crossfit workout app that is pretty cool for generating workouts.
