Yeah I'm the same way. I'm as obsessed with DH mtb in the summer as I am snowboarding in the winter. Highland has been open since the first week of May and runs through mid-November just in time to break out the SB gear. Just got to find another fix in the off season.

Point being work keeps me busy when I'm not riding and the time goes by quickly, especially if you work a ton and don't have time to spend the dough - piles up.
I should hire you as my accountant. I probably could of made it out to Mt. Hood this summer if I didn't plan a trip to NY in August.

Black ops can be fun, but doing 89-15 daily is only fun for so long. (I have a small game library)

I take the majority of winter off, I'm set up pretty well at my job. I tell them when I want to work basically and make a good living. I get plenty of riding time in!

In the summer I just work, shop and workout! I try to ride mountain bikes when I can but I work a lot in the summer.

I have in the past, but I've just been too freakin' busy this spring. At this rate, it'll be winter again before I realize it.

I know it isn't time to snowboard for most but there is a lot I like about summer. Patio beers, hiking, biking, rafting, rockclimbing, girls in short shorts and summer dresses...

Not too mention I still got one more day to ride this weekend I believe.

Next season is only a short four months away for most. Go to Hood if you need a fix in the states or head way south.

My off season from snowboarding goes right into Mountain bike season. The last weekend I snowboarded this season I rode my MTB on saturday and snowboard on sunday. To start the season last year I was at Highland on my MTB on saturday and on Sunday I was hiking for preseason turns.

I dunno, it does seem like there's something addictive, something different about snowboarding, at least for me. I just got back from surfing every day while visiting my family. And it made me crave . . . snowboarding. Not more surfing (which I'll be doing again in a month). And I do keep active otherwise in the summer. So I think there's something specifically addictive about snowboarding, at least for me.
