Yeah, unless you're going into a few professions, knowing Calculus is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine.

i have known math phd students....

biggest bunch of wankers out there!

many perpetual student types can be full of their intellectualising selves, but math students.....

just coz they have made up their own obscure language of jargon, they can presume an air of superiority due to the rate at which 'non-math' people glaze over.

even the bullshit baffling brains nonsense of physicists at least dwells upon the naturual (subatomic) world.... even tho it is largely imagined via endless graphs and i dare say even more mathematics!

but pure maths are just a bunch of tweaks, taking numbers, mixing them with other numbers, to get even more numbers which they claim to be a constant or similar and so on.....

no use to anybody. at least Dubya Bush had a tragi-comedic effect! mathematicians however..... arseholes.

So glad I went to art school. All I had to do was test out of Algebra and Advanced Algebra and *BAM* no math class for the rest of my life!

Yea luckily for a Business degree, all you really need is algebra, finance and statistics...which is good knowledge to have regardless of profession, etc.
