In anticipation of the sort of replies i will receive to this, i wonder whether or not to bother.
but i wondered if any of you medical experts out there ( ) knew anything about twitchy faces?now when i say faces, i mean just one half of. and when i say twitchy, i mean a constant tremble of the eye socket and side of the mouth. not severe, but constant and for over 2 weeks now! ![]() could it be due to an impatience of the coming season? ![]() a linging cold symptom? ![]() getting smacked in the side of the jaw with a hockey stick? ![]() a mega cough threw something out of place? ![]() brain tumour? something tropically funky? too much time spent doing stuff which is waaaay too boring? ![]() or other.....?

I'm gonna go with hours upon hours in front of a computer screen. All those stories about video games and computer screens causing seizures is finally coming true.
I hope it's not true though. For as much time as I have spent in front of this damn thing the past month, I'm right behind you. Last edited by Twix; 11-12-2008 at 10:18 AM. |

You are deficient in Potassium Paolo, get some bananas into you ASAP!! At least that's what fixes it for me.
Also stress can cause this, with all that going on in your life, have you been getting enough sleep? I would get a good eight hours for a couple nights in a row and see if that helps. At least that's what my book says that came with my online medical diploma.

A woman I used to work with developed a half-twitchy face. Turns out she had Bell's Palsy. I think its fairly harmless, except for the funny looks she couldn't control. jk.
Seriously, I don't think it affected anything else (ie motor skills, mental functioning, etc.). I think it was just more of an irritation/nusience for her. Dr. Blondie |

I think I'm sick and I need a Doctor.
I also think, you, Mr. Paolo, have a case of "ireallywanttousealltheemoticonsinonepostitus" . Lucky for you, the most prominent symptom is also the treatment.
