Nfl 2013

Surprised there isn't already a thread dedicated to this, unless everyone here is just a bunch of hippies that hate "team sports", which I doubt.

Anyways, training camp has started, and preseason is just over a week away.

September can't come soon enough!

I have been gone all summer and just got home. The Seahawks are looking prime to win the NFC this year. That is all I care about right now. Gonna be an interesting season for us. We have NEVER had this kind of preseason hype.

I do not have a clue who will be the afc will supply this year. I think tha confrence is wide open right now.

New England, Denver, Baltimore, and Cincinnati are my preseason picks from the AFC. I think Miami can do some damage as well.

The Seahawks are extremely overhyped IMO. Harder schedule this season with 5 10 AM games, a target on their back, and a slight sophomore slump from Wilson leads leads them to 8-10 wins this year and 2nd or 3rd place in the NFC West, depending on how well the Rams do.

I was at the Packer Shareholder meeting today, dressed for success. Cannot wait for this season. Vikes should win 9 or 10 games, plus their wildcard game. Woohoo! Lofty goals!

Even if Wilson struggles this year, the defense will be insane. Our secondary is tits. A little shuffling on the d line and linebackers will really help put some pressure on the opposing qb's, so that will help a lot. Our offence will continue to improve but I don't expect them to be light years ahead of last year. We will be solid that is for sure.

San Francisco will be a tough team to beat in the NFC West. I expect both teams to be in the play offs. I think that New Orleans will also be up there if they get their d game back.

My homie is from Cinci and he also thinks they have a great chance to do something this year. I hope so as well. I have always had a soft spot for those tiger helmeted bastards. Damn shame Boomer is broadcasting LOL.

Edited to add: Who else do you think in the NFC West besides SF will put the Seahawks in 3rd place??

Seattle's defense is good, but I expect them to regress. They'll still be a top squad defense, but I don't think they can keep up the high level of play last year. Remember the 2011 Niners' defense? Last year's defense was still good, but not at the level it was in 2011. I expect kind of the same from Seattle.

Your secondary is good, but I'm curious as to how well Sherman and Browner will play this year now that they aren't taking PEDs. I'm hoping the refs will be watching them more closely as well, since they mug receivers up and down the field. I'm a huge fan of ET though, he's the only Seattle player I'd want on the Niners.

I think a lot of people are overlooking the Rams. They tied and won one against us, and took one away from you as well, including almost sweeping the series in the season finale. Fisher is a good coach, and the defense shows it. I don't think Tavon Austin is going to be a "game breaker", but the addition of more weapons for Bradford and the continuance of the same offensive system for the first time in his career can only help him improve. NFC West is the best division in football right now, and it's going to be a dog fight to win it this season.

Forever Faithful!

Huge Dolphins fan here. After the last decade +, I'm cautiously optimistic. Everything hinges on Tannehill getting better, but we did give him new weapons.

Lamar Miller has a good chance to break out this year as well. 1st round talent who came out too soon, we picked him up for a steal. Hated to see Bush go, but he didn't fit our scheme. Detroit looks perfect for him. He might catch 5-10 passes a game.

I like Seattle. Not just because I stole Wilson in the last round of an 18 round draft, but I do like the kid. I think he has the chance to be one of the best from last years class of rookies. I already prefer him over RG3 because RG3 has to change his game or get killed. Wilson's game is already tailored for the NFL and his skillset. He's a pocket passer first who can move. I don't think Wilson got hit once last year. Remember Seattle has shit for receivers last year in the grand scheme of things. Harvin should help immensely.
