so every year i try this thread. well wait a minute...how many years have i been on this board? two now? okay, so last year i tried this thread (lol) and it failed horribly. let's see if it does any better this year.
what brought it on was my daughter running down the hall tonight with her pj's on inside out & backwards heading for the freezer to load up on ice cubes to flush down the toilet. her teacher in kindergarten (3 years ago) told them that if they did all that it would make it snow! so it's become a yearly tradition of hers
too cute, how can you say no?!...
so anyone else got any seasonal traditions? any snow dances, ritual worships or offerings?
Everytime I see fresh snow falling, especially the first flakes to fall, I so a little happy dance. Which basically consists of me doing some random convulsions for a few seconds until my sister tells me I'm retarded. But I'm now omw to flush some ice cubes and maybe other random objects that I come across omw to the toilet...
That's crazy you mention it. I do an incredibly rediculous 'Come on Snow' dance. Basically it's a cross between a redneck ho-down dance and Carlton from Fresh Prince. While I do the dance, I have to repeat over and over 'Come On Snow' but it only works if you're in front of at least 5 people. It works.
Well now, isn't this a prime example of the pot calling the kettle black? I applaud this thread to be able to push Mr. Smythe into the realm of 'normal.' Although you calling us weird makes me step back and ask myself, "Could it be true? Am I fit for a straight jacket?"
