eh im still new to the whole sushi thing and some of it creeps me out a little bit
i stick with the cooked stuff like the crunchy roll but i have tried some raw stuff. its got such a weird texture and im really picky about the texture of the foods i eat. i love the california roll and some others but im trying to try something new every time i go. and in southern cali there are sushi places on every corner.

Right now I am eating a rainbow roll and rock&roll. The rock&roll has shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber and a strange yet delicious sauce. I have an awesome Japanese restaurant right across the street from me and grab a couple rolls for dinner once or twice a week.

working at a sushi/Thai restaurant I have developed a addiction to sushi. Personally lately I have eating a lot of sashimi hamachi and escolar in particular. There are a few rolls that call my attention but none of them really captivate my palate.
Yesterday I tried Uni with quail egg and I have to say that I honestly don't know how people eat that stuff, but each its own . Ikura is ok, but i would never order it, just not my personal favorite. Octopus is always good. A few weeks ago I tried surf clam that stuff fucking rocks. We also have this lobster roll that sells like crazy, people go crazy over it, its a tempura style lobster, ill get a picture today and post it when I have some time to spare. Funny stuff about life is that I don't care what anyone says I think wasabi tastes like shit . But get this one, I have a allergy to soy sauce it's a pain in ass. The way it works is that if it touches my hands I am fine, but the minute it touches my lips I am fucked, they swell up pretty bad. The key is to eat the sushi without getting any sauce in my lips. its really weird, i wonder if it's an allergy or something else.

Went to Shine at Foxwoods last night (Casino in CT for non-locals) and had the best sushi Ive ever had. Had the eel, salmon, yellowtail and spicy tuna and an order of eel/cucumber rolls. Damn that salmon just melted in my mouth.
