Friggin Brits. Did you see the word cricket anywhere in the subject line, Paolo? And no, I'm not talking about SOCCER here. I'm talking about REAL football. The one that's fun to watch? Now bugger!

now bugger? bugger what? bugger off? do you know how to bugger i wonder?

and cricket? what has that got to do with 'sport'? its just an excuse for toffs to enjoy a perpetual summer and to eat loads of sandwiches.

cricket is about as much a sport as baseball.... it would be like saying that american football is a sport that utilises the foot!

in fact, shouldn't it be called steroid-monkies-wearing-too-much-padding-as-they-wiggle-about-for-a-few-seconds-in-skin-tight-lycra-ball????

He's lucky to be able to make a living in that sport and acts like a spoiled child. If he's not kicked out of the NFL the next best thing would be for the Giants to trade him to a great team like the Lions, Texans, or Bungals.
werd, its not gonna make much of a difference. the giants have been doing awesome without him all season

From the "not that it matters, but just to be technically correct" department:

It was Glock. Glocks don't have safeties. Therefore, one should be pretty sure they understand how their Glock operates and the diligence required if one deems it necessary to carry a Glock with a round chambered. As for the "dropped the gun and it went off" story? I'm calling BS on that. He was playing with the gun and it went off because he pulled on the trigger. Glocks have an internal triple safety action design (but not an actual safety switch). This design makes it virtually impossible for the gun to fire unless the trigger is activated. He lied about his name. He lied as to where the shooting occurred. He lied about inflicting the wound himself. And he also lied about dropping the gun.

He's an idiot. No wonder the Steelers let him hit the bricks and went with Hines Ward as the #1 receiver.

Seen today on a Steeler blogsite:

"Plaxico Burress reportedly dropped the handgun, accidently mistaking it for a Ben Roethlisberger pass."

I was wondering about this as well, definitely BS if his gun was a Glock. Who walks around with a round chambered, anyway? Did he think it's the wild west and he's going to have to quick draw? What an idiot!
