It would've been really interesting to see what Big Country could've accomplished in MMA if he ever took training and being in good shape seriously. I'm sorry, but you can't convince me that you're training and dieting properly when you're morbidly obese. It seems utterly impossible. A lot of HWs carry a few extra pounds, but they're not straight up lard asses. It's amazing how good he's been given his conditioning, but he really sold himself and his career short by never taking it seriously. Everyone talks about how he should fight at LHW, but I'm not so sure that he wouldn't be a MW if he was in truly great shape. He's carrying A LOT of body fat.
