So last night I made my routine 81 mile journey from my house in MN, to my girlfriends dorm in WI. usual type of deal, except last night it was snowing pretty hard. I was fine, slowed down, easy on the steering wheel, just to make sure that nothing happened. I got into WI just fine and was about 3 miles from getting to the dorms when I came up to a 3 way intersection. I was about to turn right onto the gradual curve with a stop sign when my brakes locked up. I went a little screwy and ended up in a ditch. Not only did I end up in the ditch, but I hit the stop sign. I pushed my radiatior mount a few inches in, and I cracked my radiator beyond repair. my hood is banged up pretty good, my bumber and grill are destroyed and my headlights look like a cheap horror movie when someones eyes pop out and are hanging there.
Total Damage: Hood, Bumber, Radiator support, Radiator So now Im stuck 80 miles away from my school, the weekend before finals, with no way to get back to my house and no car to work (I delivery drive) |

I wrecked my Z on some ice last year and did $16k in damage. Only thing I paid was a $500 deductible. Lucky me.
Wrecking a car is the WORST feeling. I'd rather have another concussion on the hill than wreck my car. |
