Default Has Anyone Tried A 2014 Forum Destroyer Doubledog?

So I won the lotto the other day and I snagged up this board from Evo. There are two reviews on the site that were positive, but was wondering if anyone had any feedback on the Doubledog profile?

Strange to me how often this occurs. Impulse buy I guess.

Does it really matter what people say now? You own it. Either way you'll have fun.

Haha, didn't happen to be from the link I posted to someone yesterday did it

A friend has one, not sure what year it was but it had the doubledog profile. Only rode it for 30-45 mins. First time I took it over a kicker I hadn't quite got enough speed so decided to pop as hard as I could. Big mistake, wasn't ready for that! Coming from a rockered board it had a huge amount of pop, I had so much fun just ollieing around the mountain. Stiff enough to be great on kickers, soft enough that buttering isn't a chore. I never really got it up to speed but it didn't feel like it'd be that chattery or anything. Good groomer and park board, and for that price there's no way you'll feel like you haven't got your monies worth out of it.

No, I didn't buy it from your link. I've been looking at one for a while, but I already bought a Space Case at the end of last year and last years Berzerker. So this will round out the boards I will ride this year.

Just wanted to hear feedback from someone on here is all, I can give two shits if someone gave a bad review. I'm also not a newb, I know what I bought and, why I bought it I'm interested in the R/C/R/C/R profile more than anything. I'll update this thread with my review a little into the season

What does it matter you won the lotto, if you don't like it use it as firewood and buy something different...

I bought that board for my son at the end of last season. He only rode it 5 days before the season was over but he loved it. He was coming from a Head Youth Rocka and this board was way faster and he had better control.

How can you not love a board that says, "Suck Hot Death"?

I have a Forum board. Not bad, top sheet scratches and dings easily, but everything else is solid. Lots of pop.

I tried a 2015 Custom Flying V symmetrical which would be somewhat similar to this board. I liked it, really nice float. Would have made a great 1st board or something for pure freestyle (both in pow and groom's). I'd say for my preferences i like this RCRCR profile more than CRC; but RCR rules everyhing.

Don't we all? I bought 2 boards as the season ended, absolute steal but now they just stare at me waiting to be ridden!

If I was to want a 2 board quiver, the double dog or something R/C/R/C/R would be a top contender along with a stiffer pow/groomer charger. Wouldn't really be anything you couldn't do with that combo.
