Size questions for baggy riders

I'm in the market for new pants, I have a waist size of 32, the pants I wear now are skinny ski pants(I snowboard) and fit really small. Having said that, I'm struggling to decide whether I want size medium or large pants? I want more of a baggy fit but I also want to be comfortable while I ride. I've tried a few medium Burton pants on and they fit fine but not really baggy, while the larges were more baggy but had way to much waist room. and tightening up the waist even when sagging felt odd. I guess what I'm asking is when you buy baggy pants do you normally buy pants one size up from what you wear or buy your size and sag the shit out of them?

medium, just buy pants with a baggy fit.

Try them on and have a look in the mirror... If they are baggy enough for you, then off you go to the counter. I'm also a 32 waist, tried on some DC Donon pants in M size, and they seemed like the perfect waist, and a trendy baggy look.

every brand has different fit like "standard" and "baggy" and "slim" for each size. no one can tell you becasue everyone has different sized thigh and hip waist.

go check mfg web site for "fit"
