Gyro Combyn - tested

Went long on on a smaller jump last night. Landed wonky and caught my heel edge. Smacked my melon on the hard snow. I thought for sure I was going to see stars but when I sat up there was nothing. No pain. Not even a hint of a head ache. It seems to work as advertised.

What sucks is I sprained my thumb bad and I'm leaving for CO in 2 days.

Check to see if your helmet is a single or multiple impact helmet.

Its a softshell... It's going to outlast his head.

I've smashed my head a few times with my Combyn, and only ended up with some whiplash.

Me too it works well

Just remember that even though it's multi-impact, if you have a really really hard fall then you should still probably change your helmet out.

Its there is nothing to break down in a fall in it.

Just saw a video about it on YouTube. Pretty cool technology.
