Helmet sizing advice from riders needed.

I'm looking into buying a Anon Raider helmet. Online.

Here is my dilemma, my cranial circumference is exactly 61 cm.
The large is 59cm to 61cm.
XL is 61cm to 63cm.

Does anyone know if burton/anon makes snug helmets? So I should go with XL?
Or should I get a large because the padding will mold?

I never owned a helmet before so I'm hoping you guys can help.

Thanks a lot!

The best thing to do is find a shop and try helmets on for size.

I always recommend people do what I do. Just kidding. But I have been pretty happy with my smith voyage helmet.

Like many of the smith helmets it has the Adjustable Smith x Boaź Fit System.

Get XL if the shape fits your head.
Its good to have the option to use balaclava, helmet beanie etc, so then id belive the L would be too tight.

You need to try helmets on, they are all different shapes, and size is subjective to the shape as well as circumference... The next thing you need to think about is if you wear anything underneath and if it comes with pads for fitting your shape of head as well, which is something that Sweet Protection Helmets do...

But go to a shop, and try on...!
