Jacket riding up (tall guy)
Need some advice on an issue I'm having. I used to have Ride jacket and pants that zipped together, which kept the wind out of my back, especially during lift rides and when I sat down to put my bindings on.
I recently sold them and went to a jacket and pant that didn't interface and I'm constantly adjusting it because the jacket rides up or the pants are sagging (yes, I wear a belt).
Should I go back to the jacket/pant that uses zip interface (i.e. Volcom ziptech)? Or should I buy a jacket that has little clips to hook onto the belt loops of my pants?
Have you looked into, tried on, considered a bib type pant? Your back would never be cold.
Nope, have not considered that because I don't ride in powder (east coast) and the bib seems like more of a hassle than I want to deal with, but maybe I should consider it. I was looking into a pant that had a powder skirt since that looks like it would help.
My jacket (stoic bombshell) has a shi**y powder skirt that is a PITA to adjust.
i believe they sell "tall" jackets. my bonfire is a tall model and it doesnt really ride up on me too much.
on a side note... has anyone seen the freeskiers that wear their pants all the way down around their knees, and then they wear a super long trench coat looking jacket, or a really big hoodie to cover the rest of their body? I never understood it and i can't help but laugh at them... :giggle:
