Default Spy Doom Goggle- anyone have feedback?

Just bought a pair of Doom googles for my mate off of whiskey for a sweet price. Anyone have any feedback or opinion of this goggle?

Not having a whine...well, maybe I am, but... maybe it's just me, but seems a lot of people on here buy stuff and THEN ask whether it is good or not. Logical way seems to be to ask BEFORE you buy something.

Why not let your mate try them out, then you/he can give us some real life feedback as to how these goggles perform. Do you plan to give them back if everyone on this forum says they are shi*t?

Probably because Whiskey puts stuff up for 15 minutes at a time (or in the Private Stash you have more time, but then are are faced with limited quantities that could sell out at any time). The prices are often so good that you end up buying more than you need, knowing you could flip them on at the same price or more.

So, if a bunch of people here said "nah dude they suck!" he could just go on ebay with a BNIB pair of Spy Dooms, get his money back, and no harm no foul.

But if the consensus is that they are good goggles, he will keep them and shred on!

Ah fair do's. Didn't realise the deals could be so good. I guess if the opportunity to make a quick buck is there, then all's good

I have a pair with and I like them. I cant compare them to any other higher end goggles, because these were an upgrade from a 20 dollar pair. But they fit well with my helmet and without. Super easy lens changes. I got them mainly for the interchangeable lenses. I ride at night a lot and like to be able to just put on my clear lens in the parking lot while drinking a beer.

Only thing I don't like is that I probably paid way too much. Oh well.

Exactly man! when I bought them they were a one time price at $84.99 which was like 60% off msrp $198.99. My mate has some old dragons and we have been mates since high school so just wanted to get feedback to make sure I bought him something good.

What I really hate are people that rant or whine about something they have no idea what they are talking about. I don't know maybe its just me.

I got the Doom goggles with a couple of sets of lenses this year and I like them a lot. As mentioned before the lens switching is super easy (much more so than my oakleys) and the overall visual quality is excellent.

Good deals indeed. I got a pair for around $90. The tag was something like $195. I just used them out in Utah and loved them. Super easy to swap out the lens and good field of vision though not as wide as I had hoped.
Only complaint is that I already have a small scratch in the red spectra lens...but shit happens!
