Spy Lens Tints

I am looking for a new set of goggles and the SPY lens tint descriptions I have seen are confusing. The chart is below:

So I am normally accustomed to the "persimmon" type lenses being for when its snowing or low light? Here its saying mostly sunny.

What is also confusing is the "blue contact" lens is apparently for overcast / partly sunny yet I have always heard blue isn't good for low light?

Has anyone used these Blue Contact lenses before? Their VLT rating is so low, you would think you would want it higher for low light.

the blue contact vlt isnt that low its letting through almost 50% of the light. i know plenty of people who use blue in low light, that used to be Smiths thing a few years ago. most of their base tints were blue

you're going to have the role the dice and just try some things out to find what works for you and the conditions you ride in. the fact there are so many different companies with different lenses kinda shows that theres no real consensus on what works for everyone
