Default How do you mount yours?

Hi,

I have a contour Roam2 camera, and am looking at the ways i can mount the camera on my Helmet and was wondering if people can post pictures of there helmets with the mounts on.
My camera came with a right sided profile mount and a 360 rotating mount
(https://www.actioncameras.co.uk/medi...e-main-new.jpg)
I think i can use the rotating mount on the top of the helmet, but am struggling with the the side profile mount as my goggle straps come in the way.

So would be good if i can see pics of how others have their's setup.

Thanks

Helmet POV mounts are some of the worst footage. Get a pole for more dynamic angles, maybe a suction cup mount for the board. Nothing wrong with the top of the helmet if you must.

I know the guy above said it, but i'll say it again for good measure:

Unless you're doing a 720 backflip over an erupting volcano... helmet cam footage is shit. And even in that case, i'd probably rather watch said footage from a drone cam. In other words, don't bother with helmet cam.

Oh, and tell your friends.

Got a pole coming in the post, so im covered on that front. But it would be interesting to see some pictures anyways. Most of the pictures on the net are bike helmet ones and not much for snow helmets.

My buddy had a mount that comes off on the side of his helmet beside his ear and you get a little view of his cheek and goggles. I find it a little more interesting than the typical on top of the head footage.
