Helmets w/ goggles - Snowboarding Forum

Any helmet recommendations?

I have the Oakley A-Frames and love them and don't want to switch. Do they work well with helmets? Also it seems a lot of kids wear their goggles inside their helmets? I always thought your goggle straps were supposed to go outside your helmet?

Most people wear them outside of their helmet but you can do it the other way around. You can use any helmet with those goggles, just some are going to have a better fit for gaper gap than others is all. So take your goggs into the shop and try a few helmets on and see what fits. A helmet is like boots, you really don't want to buy them online anyway. You need a good fit.

i have the a frames and i do wear a helmet. i wear a bern watts helmet without the ear liner. i also wear them inside the helmet, but they are also very compatible on the outside too. so yeah in or outside the helmet is all preference! but they bern watts or bern baker are really good helmets for these goggs.
