Sena Snowtalk - another BT headset solution?

I always get surprised when i turn off adblocker for a bit and start seeing ads which are disturbingly targeted towards me (why is it showing me ads for VZ Fishbowls the day after my wife tried on a pair in the shop and said they looked good... I never searched for that!)

Anyway it showed me a link to this today: SNOWTALK - Sena

The online shop shows it at $99... the intercom feature seems pretty cool, and it seems cheaper than the other popular option out there. No mention of the speaker size/quality though.

Anyone tried this?

Well, since we are heading to the US in May, and Amazon keeps tempting me with bigger specials, i pulled the trigger on 2 sets of the Sena Snowtalks (one for me, one for the wife); shipped to my friends place that we can pick them up when we get there. Currently at $58, and reviews are all very positive with some serious distance beint reported for the intercom.

Sena seems to have a good reputation for motorbike intercom systems, so it isnt a fly-by-night operation. All thats left to find out is the volume/quality of the music on them. But i find that with the Chips i am constantly stopping my music to talk to/listen for my wife, so having an intercom might come in very useful.
