VZ Feenoms

i bought some vz feenoms because i read they were good goggles (good looking and functional) and there happened to be a sale on them. then i found out the lense that came with it (smoke green chrome) aren't recommended for sunny days. they haven't come in yet, and i don't feel like buying another lense ($40!!!!) so i was wondering if it's all right to use 'em on sunny days. the only other pair of goggles i've owned were some $10 scott goggles so i really don't know anything about goggles

i just looked that up real fast. so 45% of the light will come in compared to the other lenses with 9% and 20%? eh that doesn't sound too bad. i prefer light anyways

It wont be as optimal as a bronze chrome, but its more versatile...i've used 60% VLT Oakley lenses on sunny days with no issue.
The main issue is cutting down on the glare off the snow and being able to see the snow contours...

If you're talking cloudless blue bird days, the smoke green will not cut it and you really should consider getting the bronze chrome. On overcast/cloudy days, the smoke green is perfect.
