Skate wax vs snowboard wax?
 

So, I have some wax from inline skating left over. An entire bar's worth. This is the wax we used to put on rails or concrete/wood ledges to make grinding easier

Its blue wax... is it the same stuff that they sell for use on snowboards?

Completely different waxes.... Don't use this on your snowboard.

Use one ball jay or bluebird waxes

And try and get wax most appropriate for the temp of the snow you will be riding.

ski / snowboard wax is special formulated to slide in cold conditions... bad idea to get that soaked into your base. you can use snowboard wax to wax your ledges tho. but not the other way around.
