I was looking for a jacket a few days ago too. I looked through all my local shops and didn't really find anything I wanted to spend $300 on. So I was in Macy's the other day when I saw this jacket:

The North FaceMen'sJackets & VestsMEN'S VORTEX TRICLIMATEŽ JACKET

Right after trying it on, I thought, "Great, another $300 jacket." I looked at the price tag to see $279.99. Scanned it on the price check and saw it was on sale for $209.99. The guy at the cashier said there was an additional 15% off making it something like $179.99 and then I got another 20% off for using my mom's Macy's card. Ended up getting a $280 jacket for about $140. I thought it was a pretty good buy. I got the royal blue color and it looks pretty snazzy. Nice and bright so people won't crash into me when I'm lying on the mountain (I fall alot). It also has all the pockets I wanted for my iPod and phone and wallet. Plus, theres a little zipper by the wrist with a microfiber cloth in it so you can wipe your goggle and put it back into the pocket.
