I am trying to find a snowboarding jacket for my boyfriend, and I am somewhat clueless on what to be looking for, etc. The one thing he did mention is preferring a pullover style jacket. I have done some searching, and really have only come across the Burton Idiom Continuum Pullover. Any opinions on that jacket? My price range is between $200-300 US. He will mostly be snowboarding in the PA, WV, NY region if that helps. I am looking for something that is "all purpose" (if there even is such a thing). I'd appreacite any input. Thanks!

For back east, I'd say something at least 15k to 25k waterproof

For pullovers, a couple that I know off the top of my head are the airblaster pullover jacket and the burton jussi anorak.
If your going for a cheaper one, the airblaster is 10k/10k which is fine for most conditions, here: Airblaster Pullover Jacket > Snowboard Jackets + Free Shipping & No Sales Tax For higher end the burton jussi anorak is pretty nice, I do have one myself and I love it. The waterproof ratings will be higher on this one, and so is the price. Men's AK 2L Jussi Anorak Snowboard Jacket | Burton Snowboards Ive seen some jussi jackets on ebay for around $280 though, so that would work if its the right size for him. The fit is baggier Last edited by ChubbyGuy; 12-25-2009 at 11:40 PM. |
