Making my columbia pants skinnier.

ive got these pants
Columbia Sportswear Ridge Run Shell Pants - Men's at REI.com
and there just really to baggy for my liking. i was just wondering if there is any way that i could make them look skinnier?
ive seen things on turning them inside out and sewing the inside, but they have two layers to these pants, so im not sure how to do that. am i out of luck with these pants? or is there a way?
thanks in advance

well i want slim fitting pants too and unfortunatly my artifact has a warped core and broken sidewall and is falling apart so my dreams are crushed. one thing you can to is sew the inseam. look it up on the google machine. what i did was use double sided tape in certain areas and it actually looks pretty decent( saw in it halldor helgason's part )

I don't have an answer for you but I have a question if you don't mind. What size did you purchase and how tall are you?

I'm only 5"6 150lbs and I've been thinking about picking these up. I'm afraid the small might be too big for me given the local REI only had mediums to try and it seemed really large on me.

im about 5"6 and 140lbs and they are a size Small. and they are a little big on me, waist wise, i wear a 30-32 in pants and they are loose, but they have little velcro straps that make up for it and ive never had a problem. But im guessing a medium would be a bit much. id recommend a small for you.
