What does everyone else do?

Do you rock your goggles on the outside of your helmet or inside with a thick beanie on?

Enlighten me.

Did the "under style" just emerge from comp riders who would throw on a helmet to briefly conform to the rules of a contest during their runs and dismiss the safety benefits?

I wear my goggles on the outside my beanie, as I don't have a helmet yet, when I get one though, my goggles will be worn on the outside of that as well.

With a beanie, gogs on the outside.

You'll hardly ever catch me without my helmet though. With the helmet off, I mock the goggles up, and run the straps in between the straps by the ear and the ear warmers, then around the back of the liner right below the bottom of the rear part of the helmet. Saw it done like that on the Dew Tour, never even thought about it until I and tried it out, feels nice and they won't go anywhere if you crash or roll in the pow.
