Dakine Low Roller - Flight Size Requirements
Hello everyone,
I know there is a thread stickied on certain flight requirements, but there was nothing on there for my flight. I'm flying with Frontier and I was trying to figure out what snowboard carrier I should get, at a low expense. Frontiers requirements are "size and weight issues We know it's a weighty issue, but please remember items which exceed 62 linear inches (length + width + depth) or weigh more than 50 pounds will incur a fee. There is a $75 fee for bags exceeding these weight limitations and a $75 fee for exceeding the size limitation." My board is a 156 Burton Custom so I'm trying to find a bag that will fit the requirements without paying $75 ! Anyone know which bag is in that requirement range? The 157, 165? Does anyone have any links? Thanks! Texas Boarder |
Any other good affordable bags?

Always check their baggage faq, they usually have different exceptions for snowboard/ski equipment.
This is from their special/fragile baggage section. ;) Baggage Chart - Frontier Airlines SnowboardOne item which may include one snowboard, one set of bindings, and one pair of boots. One pair of boots (in a boot bag) may be checked separately from the snowboard, but still count as one item. For example:
Oversize charges do not applyChecked: Yes Carry-on: Yes; Boots onlyYes, if not packaged in a hard-sided case I bolded the Oversize charges do not apply. That's actually pretty good, some airlines may still have size restrictions even if it's a big snowboard bag. |
Wow thank you very much man!
