I have some 10 year old Burtons that I'm going to replace and figure this is the best time to buy some pants.
I want the pants around a 15K/10K weatherproofing and around $150. My only requirement is that I'm pretty boring...I want it in a tan/taupe and a size medium. I've basically given up hope finding the 686 Smarty Cargo's in this color/size since every shop that has them on sale ($150 range) are ALWAYS sold out in the size/color combo...I do still find them for full price ($200) in the size/color combo though. Does Ride make good outerwear? Belltown Vented Cargo Pant | Snowboard Pants | Ride Snowboards I found some in "canteen" for $150...I may go with these. And if not these two pants, anything else similar I should look at? I don't want a slim fit or a super baggy...just a normal/semi-baggy pant with some extra pockets (like cargos). yeah, I ended up spending 2 hours driving to 4 stores to see what size I am..every store only had XL in the 686 Cargos. I was able to try on the Belltowns but they're pretty thin with no lining and liked the Cargo's better. Ended up ordering a medium from one online site and a small from another...I'll just return the one that doesn't fit.
