Impact shorts..

I've searched a bit and have found a lot; I'm picking up a pair of the Demon flexforce pro shorts because I can get them nearby at sports authority. Should I get something more heavy duty than them eventually. Last time I was out I busted my ass pretty good, I was afraid I might have bruised or even broken my tailbone. So I figured the Demons would be better than having nothing, but wondering if I should get something a little sturdier.

Ah, well looks like I don't have to post a new thread about impact shorts!

By the looks of it, I think you found some pretty decent impact shorts that don't cost a bill. Was contemplating getting some since I took a good smack close to my tailbone today. I've been looking online and Red has some but they look more just like board shorts rather than impact shorts. Let me know how they feel/work!

Well, just around the house they feel insanely NOT comfortable. Not sure I'm gonna take them out on the mountain. Then again, considering my tailbone is still a little tender a week later, I myself may just skip the slope for right now.
