Just wondering what all you bigguns are wearing for pants & jackets? I will be getting back to the mountain after a 10 year break & will need some new gear, I'm 6'1" 250lbs, 48" chest, 38" waist. Last weekend I was into 9 stores that sell boarding clothes, The biggest size any of them had was XL, the pants were too small & the jacket was a little small. I tried on several brands & they all fit about the same.
I like Burton clothing but no one had any XXL in stock for me to try, the only jacket that fit was Liquid XXL but it was way to damn short & looked stupid. I will have to order online to get XXL but I won't be able to try it on to see if it fits. So what brands are you big boys wearing & what size? Do you think Burton XXL would fit me? Open to other brands also. |

Sounds like my waist is a tiny bit bigger (39-40) and my chest may be a bit smaller (44-45). I wear XXL 686 Smarty Orig. Cargo. You might be able to get into XL, as they are a bit big...but I dont think the XXL would be too big for you, although you might need a belt. For a jacket I wear an XL Marmot thing..some would call it a ski jacket but I don't give a crap. Would be nice if it was a tiny bit longer, as I do get some snow up the back now and then. Next season I guess. Sadlt, I think you may have to go to the net depending on where you are located.

Check out the pants from bonfire. I got the xxl and they are way big. You will most likely need the xl from them. 686 is another great brand. Volcom has some xxl pants also. For the jacket i have a four square xxl and an Oakley xxl. Both are warm and have lots of room.
