transmission, division, or trench? - Snowboarding Forum

Need a new jacket. Looking either to get a white collection, transmission, division, or trench jacket. I am 5'11 150 lbs. skinny . Anyone know if i should go with a medium or small? people have been saying these sig fits have been running a bit big. I want just a normal fit. not too big, not too small. If anyone has any recommendations on what I should get, please let me know. thanks

Whoever told you the fit is big is wrong. Shaun White's collection has always been more fitted. They fit a half size smaller. You are similar to Shaun White's build, but a little taller and 10lbs heavier. A medium should fit you great. I am 5'9 175-180lbs and the jacket fits me great. It's a little snug for me, but I like it like that. The way the jacket looks though is big, but the fit is actually smaller than it looks.

With that said, I own 3 Shaun White signature jackets including the Trench. The only gripe I have with the trench is that it does not have an inner sleeve cuff like all of his other jackets did. I like to have that inner cuff to stuff into my gloves. Other than that, it's a light and warm jacket. Keep the receipt because you get a lifetime warranty with the Trench.

have you tried the division jacket? im thinking about trying that out. it looks like it has a satin inner which sounds like it would feel amazing.

No I haven't tried the Division yet. I love the look of it though. The plaid red one. I'm sure it's nice. I just have this thing for the Signature series of jackets. The lifetime warranty is great.

yah that is pretty nice. what does the warranty cover do you know? if i had it for 2-3 years i'd just grab a scissor and put a hole down the back and say i landed on a tree or something haha. id like a new one thanks.

Well, you'd have to do a good job on making it look like it wasn't cut with scissors lol. Basically, they replace it for whatever defects it begins having. If they can fix it, they will. Otherwise, they send you brand new spanking jacket. Whether it be current year, or year before. I am about to trade my 2007 Jacket of Gods in. Need to find the damn receipt lol.
