Default Smith I/O

I just got new goggles this season (Spy Soldiers) and I like them but I hate wearing goggles because I feel like it reduces my peripheral vision and makes it harder to see the subtle features in the snow. I heard the Smith I/Os have excellent peripheral vision so when I saw them on tramdock for 80$ i had to grab them.

From the pictures I saw the lenses look kind of bulgy and I just want to know if they are going to make me look like a bug or if they actaully look tight and if they increse peripheral vision as much as I heard.

I have the Smith Phenoms and wanted to try the I/Os because I thought they'd have better peripheral and downward vision. I couldn't tell a bit of difference to be honest.

They're still damn good goggles and a helluva deal for $80 though. You'll be very happy. I love Smith goggles.

*edit: i've heard decent things about the i/o's as well. they're just really expensive at retail. on sale they seem like a great deal.

If you get the EG2's then you might as well put a flag patch on your shoulder because the goggles, boots and baggy outfit are going to make you look like an astronaut

I have the I/O and I really like them. They come with two different lenses which is clutch. They are easy to swap out so if you are doing some day riding and then decide to do some night riding you are all set.
