I just bought some burton pipe gloves today at 40% off. I bought them over the other gloves they had for sale (dakine, drop, celtek, grenade) mainly because of the fit. Most gloves were just too short on material between the thumb and index finger when I opened my hand up wide. The burton XL pipe gloves were the only ones with a good fit. I was surprisingly happy when I got home because I found that I could wear my under gloves (used in freezing conditions with a gore tex glove) beneath them for added warmth while still having dexterity.

Had been using some old Drop gloves with a leather palm, but they're getting torn up now and the fit was always tight over all.

The only concern I have with these burton pipe gloves is some of the materials. They look like they'd get soaked fast in certain situations...hopefully they turn out alright and are moderately durable.
