custom color goggles - DIY?

I'm not sure if anyone has any experience with this or not... but thought I'd give it a try.

I have a pair of Anon Hawkeye goggles with the "peepshow" print (basically looks like camo but if you look closer, the camo bits are silhouettes of strippers/women).

I've seen different versions of Anon goggles that were actually wrapped in a fabric material.

I was wondering if it is possible to wrap my goggles with a fabric (want them a dif. color, probably black) and how to do that.

I would assume I just need the fabric, take out the lens, and maybe some 3M spray glue down on the goggles before I lay the fabric.

Anyone ever tried this, or have any tips?

Pop out lens (if you can) and spraypaint or glue on fabric... If lens doesn't pop out Mask it off...
I have never done it but it doesn't sound very difficult.

Take out the lens and the straps and go for it.

Felt is great, fabric will take up snow and you will have a white snow frame.

not sure why u would want to cover up strippers?

strippers, beer and powder. 3 things that make life enjoyable.

Much ado over something so small. Are you worried that your pastor will think that you like naked ladies or something? (What's so bad about that? I bet he likes naked ladies).

Its just a pattern that almost no one will notice on the side of your goggles. I wouldn't worry about it or spend time trying to put paint on it

Much ado?

I'm asking a question. Its personal preference. I want black goggles.

In that case, it will be much less hassle to pay ~$40 for a new pair than mess with painting them.
