Burton RED helmet, found bluetooth phones that fit.
Hey there,
Just wanted to share this with everyone... I currently own a mutiny II helmet (large size), and I've been trying to find a bluetooth headset to install in the hollow ear pads of my helmet. Well, today I found one that headset. It's 40$ on sale at future shop,Rocketfish HD Stereo Bluetooth Headset (RF-MAB2), it fits perfectly in the helmet with just a little fiddling and is fairly comfortable about a 7/10. The audio when in the helmet is very good, I'd say 7/10, on par with standard buds, just make sure to remove the stock foam from the ear pads. There is also a built in mic for answering phone calls. For durability... I'd say a 4.5/10, if these phones get wet or a hard bang I doubt they'll keep working. Functionality.....Well this depends... if you need access to change songs, volume, answer calls etc I'd say 3/10 as all the controls are hidden by the padding. But if you can use your mp3 device for controls and just want to listen to music, then it gets a 10/10, also turns out the mic works fine in the foam, just a slight echo apparently (just had a long conversation with a buddy of mine). All results are in the foam of the helmet **NOTE** You probably wont be able to use the built in buttons of the headset due to them being covered. I did NOT take this into consideration as I use my mp3 buttons. Comfort - 8/10 Audio quality - 7/10 Mic quality - 6.5/10 Wireless music listening - 10/10 (no skips or hiccups) Durability - 3/10 Hope this helps a few people out looking for a cheap wireless alternative. Cheers, -M |

After boarding with them a few times, people have called me. The mic works great believe it or not... Its located in one of the ear pieces, looks like a small hole.
