I was on a quest for some new goggles and came across something a little different.
Money is not the issue, the issue is does it work? Let me clear up the lose ends of my question; does it give an accurate enough long/lat reading to navigate back country with? does it really give accurate real time speed and vert? does this thing get reception in the mountains and trees???????? Check these things out. http://www.zealoptics.com/transcend/ If they work, then these things are genius and I want a pair and will pay the price (cheep if you think about what you are really getting) |

those goggles are so sick, the idea behind them is awesome. I wish i knew someone with them so i could try them out or get a real review. at CES zeal launched a new version of those goggles that run android 2.2. Yes that means live twitter/facebook feeds on the mountain. ridiculous.

I have enough problems trying to read the snow in flat light without a HUD or other bells/whistles/blinky lights distracting me.
The idea is cool, but sensitive electronics + a sport where I reguarly wipe out in a spectacular fashion = expensive to me. |
