Has Bern upgraded their audio liners for this season?

I love my Bern helmet, but I wen through two warranty replacements on the audio liners last season. The warranty guy at Evo said they've had a TON come back for warranty issues (as of late last season). Well, once again the audio has broken and I'm in line for another replacement. Does anyone know if they've fixed the issues for this season? I don't want to be without a helmet for week or two while they determine if it's actually broken and I get a replacement just for it to break again.

Wal-mart (and other places) sell these maxell ear clip headphones which are *perfect* for replacing the headphone speakers in most helmets.

They cost $7.
Walmart.com: Maxell Stereo Ear-Clips: Audio

you might also need a headphone jack coupler ($4), but I would just spend the $10 to fix it yourself
