Littleton Colorado shops

I'm heading to Denver tomorrow and will be staying with friends in Littleton. I will have a rental. I'm looking for a good place to get some bindings and snowpants.

Bindings I'm tying to fins either the Burton Tucan Lexa's in a M or a pair of small Flux GU30's. That said if I find a good pair at a good price while down there I'm open to suggestions.

Snowpants I'm looking for orange pants. So far I like the Burton Lucky Pants in Ember but I'm open to anything that will go with my coat.

We'll be riding at Vail, Copper and Winter Park if there are shops in those areas as well.

Thanks,
TT

I believe Colorado Ski and Golf has a store in Littlefun. BC Surf&Sport at Park Meadows is another good shop in that neck of the woods. There is a Christy Sport's and an REI in that area too. For Burton stuff, any one of those guys probably have some or all of what you are looking for. Not sure on the Flux stuff. Plenty of snow shops at each of the mountains too, though the Denver Metro stores tend to be better stocked. Not always true, but that is the trend.

Thanks again for the info.

There's a BC Surf and Sport in Southwest Plaza just a little ways south on Wadsworth from CO Ski and Golf. No need to drive all the way over to Park Meadows unless you just want to do it. I'm not aware of any shops in the Littleton area that carry Flux, but Community Skate and Snow in Arvada definitely do. That's where I got mine. It's easy enough to get to from the area the shops we're talking about are, but it's a good 20 minutes or so. Just go straight north on Wadsworth and hang a left on Old Wadsworth about 1/2 mile north of I-70. You can't miss it.

Southwest Plaza is where I'm picking up the car rental. That seems like a good spot to start. Thanks!

There's a Christy Sports, REI, and CO Ski and Golf all within 5 minutes of Southwest Plaza. BC Surf and Sport is in SWP. And like I said, Community Skate and Snow is about 20 minutes north of that area, just follow Wadsworth north. Great guys there and I highly recommend Flux.

There is a little shop on Bowles just west of Kipling, it's called Dire Ride. It is only about a minute or two west of Southwest Plaza. I don't know if they have those specific items you are ooking for, I haven't been in there in some time, but they carry more unique brands than other shops I know, might be worth a look see.

According to Flux's website, Dire Ride doesn't carry them. However, it also lists BC Surf and Sport as carrying them and I don't ever recall seeing Flux bindings in a BC, though I'm rarely in one.

If I was the OP, I'd swing by CO Ski and Golf to grab some pants as they'll have by far the largest selection and have some decent prices when shit is on sale. But, if you're looking for specifics in peak season, your chances of finding it on sale is slim to none. You can probably check out the Burton bindings there too. I'd call Community before you head up there though. They're a small shop with small inventory, so I'd make sure they have those bindings in that size before making the trip. After riding Flux's, I don't think I'll ever buy anything else. They're really that awesome.

If you're gonna be at SWP anyway, you might as well swing into BC to see if they have the Flux's. But I don't think they do, regardless of what Flux's website says. I could be wrong though.

I am pretty sure that BC Surf & Sport at Southwest Plaza was closed when they opened the one at Park Meadows. Or at least soon there after. I called them last year to get some BOA replacement cables and the guy at Park Meadows said they have only have the PM store and the Flat Iron's spot.

I don't know about Dire Ride. Probably worth checking out. There is also a snowboard shop at the Southglen Mall development. At least there was, I have never been. That's at University and Orchard Road basically. Emage in Downtown Denver on Platte street is another decent shop.

If you head over to the BC surf & sport at Park Meadows mall, there's another LBS (local board shop) near by.

eskimoshop.com Located in Centennial (on county line & Holly).

Also there's:
