My girlfriend got a pair on clearance at the end of last season. 6 trips and 6 washes so far this year and they still look like new. I can't comment on comfort/performance, but I haven't heard any complaints

I've been wearing my boots around my pad for the past week trying to break them in and I switched from my super cushy burton socks to the thirty two'slast night, So far they feel about the same. The only real difference is warmth. The burton socks make my feet sweat after 20min while I've been in the thirty two's for 90min now and no sweat. They are a lot thinner and longer. The thirty two's go all the way above my knees while the burtons reach the top of my calf.

I picked some on clearance at the start of the season and after 5 days of riding/ 5 washes they still look new. Like other have said, they are thinner than most socks but still plenty warm without the sweat factor.
