Gloves: how to repair external Goretex shell? - Snowboarding Forum

Today, at 3rd day of use, a rusty piece of metal coming out of a wood opened a "L" shaped tear on my brand new Level HalfPipe XCR.
I am sure you can imagine how I felt and feel.
Thanks God it's just the outer shell. I can see the white stuff under.
So, what you guys suggest in order to fix it in the best way? I am sure waterproff in that little segment is gone, but I am sure a good fix will prevent further damage.

forgot to add, the tear is right on the thumb where the dark smooth material joins the grey rougher one. I put some sort of duct/patch I found, and it seems it doesn't hold properly on the grey material.

Easy, find a washable, felxible, fabric glue. I use it on my Defcon Team Goliath's when a seam busted in the finger. Closed it up solid and water proof.

thanks a lot. But do you have a product name? I am in southern Europe, and products are not the same you guys use in the US. I can translate "fabric glue" but it'd be better if I already knew what I can find here.
