So i recently slammed face first when I caught a toe side edge when I wasn't balanced coming off a feature and went down hard. I Thought I broke my nose but luckily I didn't. This is the second time this happened and second pair of cracked oakleys
still in great condition though.Anyway, I already wear a regular helmet and goggles all the time and the two times I took a toe-edge catch were easily the hardest falls I've taken and both times it happened too fast to even brace for impact. I was seriously considering getting a full face type helmet much like motocross or boarder cross use but was wondering if they are effective. Anything to do about it short of never falling again? |

If you get a full face be sure to get one of these. Neck Protection That front of the helmet will increase the chance of bending your neck too far back and killing you.
