back protector and tight midlayer? - Snowboarding Forum

Guys,
i pulled the trigger on a Dainese back protector. I bought it online, w/o trying it before. Still have to receive it. Was thinking: usually snow/technical stuff is tight (for example: Patagonia stuff). Would the back protector fit under the midlayer? or should I use it above it, just before the jacket?
just wondering, never had one

I'd wear it over my capeline layer. Then I'd layer normally over that.
