Default opinions of 3-in-1 vs insulated jackets

I am trying to get some feedback and see how people like their 3-in-1 jackets as well those insulated with 3M or 60g of Thinsulate.

I had a 3-in-1 jacket back in highschool, but i didn't like the feel of it (it just felt like i was wearing a fleece jacket with a shell on top)
Whereas I've never had a insulated jacket, but these ones here, say that they have insulation in "critical areas" which to me sounds like there isn't much insulation at all.

I narrowed my choices down to:
1) Thirtytwo - Mobb
2) Oakley - Sort-up
3) Oakley - Amplier

It gets too damn cold on the east side...with windchills reaching -25 (-13F), so I'm done with shell jackets

Any info is appreciated!
